Our several years of operating tours for tourists from
different parts of the world proves the fact that they believe the Iranian
hospitality as one of the unique and distinctive features of its people. This
characteristic of the Iranians attracts most of the tourists. But unfortunately
due to the shortage of true information about Iran and its facts, the world
usually has different conceptions in their mind from what it really is.
Therefore, we intend to carry out a scientific research by
asking the opinion of the tourists visiting Iran about this tangible fact to
investigate the real hospitality of Iranian people.
We have based our research on the ideas of the tourists who
refer to our agency in the center of the city of Shiraz. But in order to prove
the hospitable Iranian people to the world travelers, we eagerly ask anyone who
intends to help us promote this project to refer to us when they are in Shiraz
or fill out the following form along with your own photo to be added to our
list.
Thank you in advance for your care and support!

surprise for us : very kind peacefull and helpfull and really
different from the idea what we receive abrod in our country. We
had to cancel a lot of prejudices and wrong ignorant ideas quite
common where we live.

Comments: Iran has been one of the
safest, easiest and most interesting countries I have visited and
I have travelled alot. The Iranian people are one of the most
polite and friendiest people in the world. People here are
geniunely interested in meeting you as a guest to their country.
The women are very educated and liberated in the fact that they
work and are able to walk in the streets after dark in safety.
Iran truely has been a wonderful surprise and a pleasure to
travel. I will certainly spread the word about the
misconceptions people hold in Australia concerning the Iranian
people and their culture.

Comments: It may take some time to get used
to ta'arof, and to get used to the traffic, and to find the
delicious food that you know is out there, but you'll be helped
along the way by the incredibly generous and friendly Iranians.
The rewards of travelling in Iran are enormous, and the
difficulties exaggerated. I found it one of the easiest places
to travel, mostly because of the people, and I would recommend
it to anyone.

large variety in climate and nature; Woods, mountains, desserts,
lakes and seas. I have enjoyed looking around a lot while traveling,
hiking and sightseeng. Iranians: Wonderful, gentle, helpful and
generous people. I believe there is no people like the Iranians;
there is a lot that many can learn on that behalf. Vacation: I was
quite unaware what Iran was all about before deciding to go. I did
do some reading to familiar myself to know what to expect. That
actually led me to quite some expectations. So far my expectations
have been endlessly surpassed.

in the Western media. Say hello to friendly people, good food, beautiful
landscapes and ancient buildings. The people are so calm and not shouting in
the streets and so, its cool to visit this place, I like the ancient
buildings but there is only one thing I didnt like is the way hoe they
drive, is difficult to cross the streets, but hopefully it will become
better and better. Great place! Salud!

to visit. The people are easily the best thing about the place, very

great experience, it's true what they say about the hospitality and
friendliness of the people in Iran. I have had many pleasant conversations
with very friendly people, none of which lead to a sale as in other
countries - the people here are genuinely interested in talking to you as a
person. I would recommend anyone considering coming to Iran to do so, you
wont be disappointed. Recommended also is Pars Tourist Agency - very helpful
and efficient staff. Go to Iran!

Comments: Except a rubbery in Esfahan
(stolen camera) until now I met many friendly and helpful people. Anyway, as
an individual tourist I didn't feel save all the time because due to social
and economic problems here I know that tourists are attractive because they
always have to take a lot of cash with them. As an interesting cultural
experience I would advise my friends in Germany to go to Iran. There's a big
difference between the bad impression of the politics in this country that
we have and the many many nice and friendly people.

Comments: The Holy Land of Persia holds the
roots of monotheistic religion. King Cyrus practiced religious, linguistic
and cultural tolerance across his vast empire. It was he who ordered that
the Temple in Jerusalem be built. It was he who supplied the materials, the
treasures and the builders. It is good to be reminded of this now in times
of misunderstanding and intolerance. The Persian people are wonderfully
civilized and cultured with the best of the old and the new.

Comments: People in France think that
Iran is a dangerous country to go to, mainly because of the international
context. Unfortunately they don't have the opportunity to talk to real
Iranian people living in this country. We discovered very friendly people in
the touristy areas, people willing to improve their language skills or to
chat with foreigners about their own customs. Discussions were always of
high interest to us because it enabled us to know better local habits. We've
also had the chance to get invited for some diners and tasted Iranian food
out of the restaurants. it's great value and we really enjoyed it. Persian
culture is very ancient and it would be nice for people abroad to be able to
discover it and be aware that Iranians are no fundamentalists but
open-minded persons. And I hope you will always remain as curious about
foreigners as today ! Anne-Valerie and Matthias

realize that the best thing are Iranians, because they are very open people,

traditions,

world where the knowledge of Iran is limited and fixed in terms of the
political situation in the Middle East. Those friends of mine who have
traveled in Iran had spoken in glowing terms about the hospitality of the
Iranian people that they met. My experience has been the same. I have found
the Iranian people that I have met to be approachable, friendly and
knowledgeable about the world. It has been a truly pleasurable experience to
travel in Iran.

where you can do trekking) Then, we spend some times in the capital .. with
so many traffic ..and pollution before discovering the marvelous

that Iranians have. Iran is very beautiful country, with rich history and
with friendly people. It has a lot to offer to a tourist, especially on the

the traffic seems dangerous to us.

Comments: Together with my fiancé, I am traveling through Iran. We are not
with a group, just the two of us. Therefore, we are very dependent of the
help and hospitality of the
Iranian people to show and help us around. Our experience is that the
Iranian people are extremely helpful. Even if we do not ask them directeley,
if they see us looking around, they come to us and ask if they can help.
This is our experience with all the people, no matter grade of education or
age. Another feature we have noticed is the curiosity of the Iranian people.
They ask a lot of questions, want to know a lot about our country, our lives
and habits in Europe. They combine this with their wish to practice their
foreign languages which leads to nice conversations. Sometimes however, they
are SO helpful, that they give an answer, even if they don't know. We are
enjoying our stay very much!

friendly I have lost count of the small acts of kindness they have done for

lots of great culture and history to see. If I had one complaint it is that
sometimes there can be a lot of rubbish that needs clearing up.

beautiful nature is and we met friendly people everywhere. We continued by

Comments: Despite the fact that I was upset when my whiskey bottle was taken
away by a security-check officer at the airport arrival gate, so far my
experience with most Iranian people has been great! Not only hotel people
and travel agents, but ordinary people walking down on the street are also
helpful and kind. Compared to many cities in other Middle Eastern countries
at the same economy level, I have found that most Iranian cities (streets
and touristy areas) were cleaner. This is same for most restaurants and
hotel rooms. So, I think that I have had a good value from traveling in
Iran. I hope my opinion of this memo will help you to decide making a trip
to Iran someday.
